What is the Project P.R.O.M.I.S.E. TRIO Program? Upward Bound (UB) Program?

P.R.O.M.I.S.E. is an acronym that stands for “Prepared, Resilient, Optimistic, Motivated, Inspired, Successful, Educated” and the TRIO Upward Bound program is an initiative offered by Project P.R.O.M.I.S.E.

The TRIO Upward Bound program serves 60 high school students from Richards and Tilden High Schools in Chicago. The program is funded through the U.S. Department of Education and the goal is to develop the academic skills necessary for our participants to complete high school and be successful during their collegiate endeavors.

Who do we serve?

TRIO Upward Bound program provides services to potential first-generation college students residing in low-income households as well as students with an academic need.
